Group C/D - Tim Overbey defated Wes Yates
We had the largest turnout for a league since covid with 24 players. Both top and bottom divisions were incredibly competitive. A/B players were mixed into 2 pools and then the top 2 from each pool advanced to a single elimination bracket. The same was done for the C/D pools.

We had a great turnout for League with a lot of high level players and a solid group of new players. The tournament was a giant round robin that fed into single elimination A/B/C tournaments.
Group A - Adam Block defeated Owen Allen Group B - Bishop Duperret defeated Kamran Salek Group C - Mike Halliday defeated Jordan Thompson We had a good turnout for our first League tournament after a 2+ year pause!

Henry Lopez came in first in the lower division with Allen Gorbakovsky coming in second. Allan is a young player and this was his first League event. Also notable is that Jeron Triggs traveled down from Phoenix to join us. We had one of the largest turnouts for a league tournament in a while, forcing us to utilize all 10 tables. Click through to see results.
We had an excellent turnout for our 2nd league play of 2017. 25 people played 65 matches. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place often came down to head-to-head or game-win-loss records as indicated by “(tiebreaker)” below. We had three new club participants and one out-of-town guest participant. Thanks to David Schulte for running the tournament and to everyone who pitched in on setup and take-down. Tucson Table Tennis Club members had more success in Phoenix competing in the AZ Open and Giant Round Robin held by the Phoenix Table Tennis Club. We had 2 players win their brackets and 2 finish second.
Members of Tucson TTC had an excellent showing in the Valley of the Sun tournament on December 3rd and 4th. Read more for more information to see who took top honors.
