We had an excellent turnout for our 2nd league play of 2017. 25 people played 65 matches. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place often came down to head-to-head or game-win-loss records as indicated by “(tiebreaker)” below. We had three new club participants and one out-of-town guest participant. Thanks to David Schulte for running the tournament and to everyone who pitched in on setup and take-down. The match results have been submitted to and processed by USATT. As you know, we have many folks who regularly participate in USATT sanctioned events. It was noted that our league ratings have fallen well below our individual USATT ratings for most tournament players in our club. To the extent possible, we want our club ratings to indicate the performance level of our players. For that reason, Eric has started a one-time (per person) effort to manually intervene. The new club ratings for this month's league reflect that intervention. If you would like to understand the details behind this, please contact Eric.
